Associate Director, Raytheon Missiles & Defense

Ron Breen is a long time Granite State Chapter member and past Executive Board member. He generously gave of his time and talent to help resurrect the Chapter and his sage advice and counsel have helped other Chapter members seek professional certification with ASIS. He is generously hosting and presenting in February 2023 at one of our fw live events post-pandemic, and his knowledge is DoD security matters is vast.  

 
Ron retired from the U.S. Coast Guard after 20 years as a Chief Warrant Officer. From 1995 –2000, he served as the District Security Manager (Director) for the First Coast Guard District stationed in Boston Massachusetts where he was responsible to the District Admiral and Coast Guard Director of Security for security oversite and compliance, as well as counterintelligence, and police services for 110 Coast Guard units throughout the Northeast and the Netherlands. Prior to that Ron managed the Coast Guard’s mid-Atlantic data network center, served as the Radioman in Charge ashore and afloat, Communications Watch Officer for the Coast Guard Atlantic fleet, was a certified Maritime Federal Law Enforcement boarding officer and Marine Safety officer for environmental response, facility, and vessel inspections.
Ron earned his bachelor’s degree in Management from Lesley University and his MBA at Southern New Hampshire University. He is Board Certified in Security Management earning the CPP designation, a certified FSO, and holds certification as a Government Security Specialist (GS-080).
Global Supply Chain and Global Security Services Industrial Security Director. In this capacity, Ron is responsible for the developing and implementing the strategy for the Supply Chain Security Program for RMD and in a large part, Raytheon Company. Ron has over 40 years of experience in government and industry, providing proactive security leadership to achieve strategic business goals.
