Jason is a retired Marine infantry officer and has been the Protective Security Advisor for New Hampshire since May 2017. Prior to that he spent six years with the Federal Protective Service (FPS). While there, he managed the Facility Security Assessment Program for FPS Region 1, New England, as the Law Enforcement and Security Program Manager. While with FPS, he also performed the duties of a Contracting Officer’s Representative, Mission Support Program Manager, and was the Acting Risk Management Branch Chief for a year. He graduated from the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) in 2014 as a Federal Law Enforcement Officer and was a member of the inaugural FPS Rapid Protection Force.
While attending training a 6-month training program at FLETC, the 12-week FPS course Physical Security Training Program was the highlight. The intensive instruction in basic physical security, vulnerability assessments, and risk management were all based on ASIS standards. The primary instructors had a variety of ASIS certifications, and Jason became very familiar with how ASIS approaches physical security. Jason is now pursuing an ASIS PSP certification while he serves at the Granite State Chapter Secretary.
