Melis Cinar:
Melis Cinar is a recent graduate who holds an M.A. in Strategic Intelligence & Analysis (Northeastern University) and a B.S. in National Security Studies (University of New Haven). Her experiences include an internship as an Intel Analyst, along with academic coursework in many functional areas of security. As an Intel Analyst, she was responsible for analyzing data to assess potential risks, identifying patterns in security threats, and enhancing intelligence dissemination practices – familiarizing herself with the current best practices in corporate intelligence. She currently works at a personal injury law firm where her responsibilities include managing sensitive client information, compiling case reports, and collaborating across multiple stakeholders, including healthcare providers and legal experts.
Melis’s key competencies include threat assessments, critical thinking, and policy reviews, as well as considerable strength in intelligence collection and risk analysis to support effective, evidence-based decision-making. She is also bilingual, speaking both Turkish and English fluently. Her career goals are aligned with organizations that need insightful team members to support corporate intel or national security positions.
